RSVP: National Rally to #EndGunViolence

  • West Lawn U.S Capitol (map)

Join us, Pastor Pfleger, Chicago families, and other gun violence prevention activists at the National Rally to #EndGunViolence to pressure Congress to pass gun safety laws on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:30pm on the West Lawn at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC---after the 10am House Judiciary Committee hearing on assault weapons ban.

The week of July 28 through August 4, 2019, our country saw four mass shootings. This does not include the shootings in Chicago on the weekend of Aug 3rd where eight were killed and 47 wounded. America continues to ignore the easy access and love affair with guns that has blood flowing on its streets. It is time to unite together to put pressure on Congress to stop ignoring this public health crisis and hold Congress accountable for not taking action in passing common sense gun safety laws.

We must demand that Congress pass legislation to guarantee our constitutional right to live!

Since September 25th is the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims, we are asking ALL to wear ALL black in mourning for ALL lives taken by gun violence. Black t-shirts that say #EndGunViolence will be distributed.
